Parallel computation of unsteady supersonic-inlet flows The parallel code was tested on both a network of workstations and on the Cray torus, three-dimensional (T3D). The serial NPARC code was successfully parallelized to run in single.

A physics-based computational method is presented for the trajectory prediction of fully appended self-propelled underwater vehicles, including a rotating propeller.

The approach is to interactively couple the numerical solution of the three-dimensional unsteady incompressible turbulent Navier-Stokes equations with a six-degree-of-freedom (6-DOF) computational method.

where is the Froude number and the Reynolds number Re is defined by where v is the kinematic viscosity, and is a dimensionless form of the Reynolds stress. Figure 1 shows the reference frame and ship location used in this work.

A right-handed coordinate system Oxyz, with the origin fixed at the intersection of the bow and the mean free surface is established. Parallel computation techniques may bring a considerable saving in time in the computer simulation of turbomachinery flows.

The program complex is presented for numerical simulation of 3D sufficiently unsteady flows of viscous compressible heat conducting gas. We report parallel speed-up results of a task-parallel C classifier using.

We report good parallel performance both on a commodity cluster and on a national HPC, delivering speedups up to over the optimised sequential implementation on.

Introduction: The CERFACS Parallel Utilities Library (CPULib) The purpose of this paper is to report on recent progress in the development of a complex code for "modular" parallel fluid dynamics.

The project was funded by the European Commission and involved several research centers, coordinated by CERFACS in Toulouse, by: 1. @article{osti_, title = {Three-dimensional transient thermal analysis with explicit finite-element representations -- Parallel implementations and performance studies: The connection machine (CM-5)}, author = {Mohan, R.V.

The prediction of unsteady separated, low Mach number flows over complex configurations (like ships and helicopter fuselages) is known to be a very difficult problem.

The possibility of predicting these types of flows with the aid of inexpensive parallel computers is explored in this work. The results of these studies are set forth in a final FIS report, which contains a written section, flood profiles, figures, and tables.

In addition, an essential product of the study is the Flood Insurance Rate Map (FIRM), which is distributed to the private insurance industry, the community, Federal and State agencies, and others.
